Even at $25K that would mean you would only have $15K to spend restoring it before you were running into a loss. I don't think that would be enough to finish this car to any decent standard.

Having said that, if prices continue to rise like this it could still be a good investment.

My worry is that the bubble usually bursts eventually like it did in the late '80s and values will half. Then where would you be?

One day the world will wake up and people will realise you can actually get a very good car for the money we are paying for these old buckets that were poor quality even when new if we're honest.

Then maybe this hobby will be afordable again for the people that actually care about these cars. Like us.

O man,i am glad our cars have a nice value because restoring them cost an arm and a leg,but hey,this is in my opinion plain stupid.
What can you possible save on this car?

Yeah, i see your point. It's f barn surviver, so i think it is a far more easier to restore than first convertible with total air. Plus to this, some of conv. Challey cost up to 200.000 $ on ebay, pretty good investment.
