70 Tail Light Gaskets

I can't seem to find anyone who sells 1970 tail light gaskets and the back-up light gasket. Year One and Soffseal sell the tail light gaskets, but not the back-up lens gasket.
Any ideas guys?

Try Layson's restorations.
Looks like they might have some in stock
I think this link will take you right to the home page.
If not they have an easy search system.

On the left, click catalog,Put in model= Challenger, then year=1970, then
part search put=gasket.
The page with the gaskets your lookong for SHOULD? pop up.

it comes in the kit used for repainting the vehicle. got the set myself. the gaskets dont fit perfect seem a little sloppy especially the side marker gaskets.

I got the Paint gasket set already, but that only gives you the bezel-to-body, not the lens-to-bezel gaskets.
I've searched Laysons and they only list Tail Light Bezel-to-Body Gaskets.
Neil, I could cut them myself but it's around 3/8" wide. (My hands are not that steady)!
I can't believe they are not being made somewhere?

Why not drop ebay member "lorettafillmore" a mail? This is what he says in an ebay ad:

This is a set of painstakingly duplicated, laser cut, OEM style material taillight gaskets for your 1971 Dodge Challenger. The white taillight housing to body outer gaskets are 3/8" thick bubbly, white foam just like OEM. The inner gray housing to lense gaskets are also made from the same material as the original gaskets, 1/8" thick gray rubber foam. Don't settle for the crappy fitting, aftermarket, diecut gaskets made by people that "specialize" in Chevy gaskets. These gaskets LOOK and FIT PERFECTLY! See our feedback.

Well spotted Christer!
I gave up searching, took Neils advice and decided to cut my own. I bought a sheet of gasket material from Year One, had several beers, put a new blade in my craft knife and went for it! It came out perfect!

If I may add a comment, Don't tighten the fasteners too tightly. If things are not straight the lens will snap. Work your way around the frame and lens gently then leave it be.

Good point, Jon. VERY easy to overtighten the nuts. Keep the whole deal level or it will break.
