Swedish 1970 Challenger SE (again!)

Postby rockanimal » 26 Jan 2006 21:06

Hi again everybody! First of all, I know I have another thread with pictures here somewhere but it was easier this way (or maybe I´m just lazy...), hope that´s ok! Anyway, here´s some newer pictures of my car. Originally a 318 car, now it has a 340 engine, 904 trans and a 8 3/4 suregrip rearend. Since these pictures were taken in July 2005 (summer seems VERY far away up here in cold and snowy Sweden...), I have bought new tires (BF Goodrich 225/60/15 front and 255/60/15 back) and some interior pieces that I haven´t had the time to install yet...The VIN picture is a bit hard to see but it was the best I could do, it hasn´t got that many options anyway... :) - Robert

Too bad, but congrats on the Stones tickets

Hopefully there will be more cars this year than last , the weather last year was no hit and that may have gotten people to stay home. We pray to the weather gods for more sunshine this year :s002:

Well as you all probably read Keith Richards climbed a palmtree when he was drunk and fell down so he had to have a serious operation. Brain damage or so they say? Anyway the Swedish date got cancelled and postponed til next year! So now, Chippa and everybody else I will make it to the Moparmeet in Oxelösund instead, so I´ll see some of you in a few days!

Here´s a couple of newer photos of my car. I striped it and have new tires. BF Goodrich 225/60/15 in the front and 255/60/15 in the rear. Plus I got some interior fixed like the VENT cables which were missing and some light things. Of course there´s still stuff to do, as always, but I think I will just enjoy the short Swedish summer now...

Yeah heard of keiths adventures, to bad they wont be coming, hope he will be ok !

The stripe really did wonders to the car! It looks much nicer than before! :s017:

Hope to see you in Oxelösund then! I hope nothing happends to my car that makes me to leave it at home! I just finished putting it together after a winter resto and i had a problem with oil leaking from the oilfilter holder, and one of the brake calipers are leaking a little fluid! Im just hoping for the best and that nothing begins to hassle! :)

By the way if you didnt now, i drive a yellow 72 Duster 340!

How would they tell?

They probably heard him talking as he normally does and just assumed he had brain damage. :lol2:
