I'm contimplating this here in the near future can this be accomplished without the factory service tools not caveman methods and does anyone know where I may be able to pick up these tools
No special tools needed. Was very easy to acomplish with screwdrivers and a steering wheel puller. In fact looking for a few old ones to refurbish and sell on ebay to help finace my project.
I count anything that is not a regular hand tool item as a special tool. Anything simple like that I generally make myself. In this case a metal plate with a couple of holes in it and two bolts. It doubles up as a crank pulley removal tool too.
