Heater Help

It just got cold in Atlanta and I need to run the heater when I am driving my 73 Rallye..................all that is blowing out is cold air.........since I am a novice to heater issues all ideas are appreciated.

Is an easy solution that I may have to change the thermostat ? Or am i trying to make the issue to easy?

All help and steps are appreciated

Check your heater control cable for proper operation,it sounds like your cable is disconnected or no water in heater coil

My first thought exactly, the control cable(s). Did they have an in-line coolant control valve in the later years? I know my 70 did not.

Bye the way they still sell new heater cores. Bought one in July from Modine (Also the engine radiator) Nice fit and quality. :thumbsup:
