NZ440R/T - Resto Update, A Month To Go........

Postby NZ440R/T » 19 Nov 2005 5:01

Thought I might as well post some photos, I wasn't going to and was going to wait until she was finally complete...
But........lol Yeah. I did promise I'd post some photos.

Glass is in and so is the grill, EVERYTHING behind the grille is black or been painted black, the grille needs about 0.0001% adjustment and the the top grille rivets to be blacked out also. Not correct but IMO better than factory.

The exterior is 95% complete with all that is needed to complete it, is:

- Chrome Racing mirrors (restored just waiting for some screws)
- 1/4 Panel moldings and trunk lid emblem
- Engine bay wiring to be detailed and cleaned up a little.

That's it for the exterior, seats are done except the rails.
I'm expecting the interior to be 80% installed (probably more) before December.

Well, nothing too major, just exterior and engine bay shots.

Cheers,
Carl

Very sanitary.

I like the way you have done the black behind the grille. Better than stock as you say.

Are you not going to black out the top of the bulkhead/cowl as well?

Thanks Dave.
Not sure yet, we do know about it, but it looks fine when closed and I personally like the non broken up lok of it without the black there.
When have built this car doing what we think is a fixing up the factory bugs or floors and detailing the parts we think they missed or should of.

Once the car is complete I'll see how it is driving with the cowl white, maye change it but not sure yet.

Cheers,
Carl

Yip but I changed my mind.
They didn't suit the image on this car, and I could only fit 245's on the rear, the 15x8" Rallyes can take 275/60 easily.

Thanks for the words lads.
