swap SB to a BB

after swapping out a 318 with 904 to a 383 with a 727 do i need to change the drive shaft also ??? i know the spline count is different

The drive shaft will need to be shortened or replaced. The 727 is a bit longer.

yup , that´s correct.

318/904 driveshaft length: 49,95"
383 4bbl/727 driveshaft length: 45,60"
