I am putting a fuel cell in the trunk of my 73 challenger. What sending unit do I need to purchase to make my stock gas gauge work? Sumitt has 90 ohm for GM and 70 ohm for others. Is the 70 ohm correct?
Thanks for any info,
Robert

This is from my trouble shooting guide for the stock sender.
With the float in the 'empty' position you should get a reading of 73 ohms (+/- 12 ohms).
In the full position the reading should be 9.6ohms (+/- 1 ohm).
So I would say go for the 70 ohm version.
