Hello all, I just found the board while doing some research for my sister's Challenger. It's a '71 318 2-BBL car. Nothing fancy, but she loves it. I just finished prettying up the engine and swapped on a 4-BBL setup for her. I also took off the A/C and boy, what a project that turned out to be, lol. I finally located some pulleys and alternator brackets, so that's another problem out of the way. My question is, is there some place I can go to find pictures of how the power steering pump should be mounted(Saginaw pump)? I normally don't go for the cars with all the power accessories, so I'm not too familiar with them. I probably should have taken more pics before I started pulling it apart. It's mounted in the car right now, but it doesn't seem very solid. There seems to be alot of flex in the bracket that mounts at the rear of the pump to the timing chain cover. Since I pulled off the A/C, I now have a few brackets that I won't be using, of course. I'm wondering if one of those brackets, (especially the triangular one with a hole at each corner), is for the power steering pump. I'm also trying to figure out the kickdown linkage, but that's another story. Any help is greatly appreciated. BTW, great message board, seems like alot of useful information, not only for Challengers but for anyone with Mopar blood running in their veins.
Thanks!
