correct dash paint?

Anybody know what the correct black paint finish is for a `70 Challenger dash ? Is it the same as the steering column and seat hardware ? Where can I buy it?

It is flat black on cars with black interiors. But all the interiors I have looked at it seems to have a slight satin sheen to it too.
Also sometimes seems to have a slight texture to it as if it has been sprayed from a distance with many fine coats?

But I have never inspected a factory original interior that I know has not been 'restored'.

Same paint on the steering column.

Try to find an original bit and match it.

I just thought of someone who might know. I will get back to you.

"The steering columns on the 1970 models were painted flat black (Ditzler 9324) despite interior trim colour. The 1971-1974 models were also painted black, but it was a low gloss finish listed as Ditzler 9388". (From Paul Herd´s Restauration guide.)

Don´t know if it helps or not!?

The two scans below are from the 1974 Body service manual. I doubt that the same colour codes also are valid for 1970 models, but it may give you a clue about where to find the information.

I would have expected to find an "E" in the Carline-column but apparently another letter is beeing used..... Yes, I am a bit confused....Help?
