Correct steering column colour

Postby Christer » 20 Oct 2004 9:39

I did read in Restauration guide (Herd) that all 1970 Challengers had steering columns painted in flat black (if i remember it right). I have borrowed a couple of photos from aarta.com. As you can see in the photos, the steering coloumns on some of the cars are colour matched with the rest of the interior. What is right and what is wrong?

I think the column got the same paint as the dash but I would have to dig around in magazines to check that.

What about Jens survivor car? I know it is not a 1970 but..... :?
