Kickdown lever hookup

I have an Edelbrock Performer Rpm manifold along with an Edelbrock 750cfm carburetor installed on my 440. I also bought the throttle linkage kit that goes with this but am still having trobule connecting my transmission kickdown lever to the carbuuretor. Pictures would help.

You may also like to consider the Lokar kick-down cable as an alternative. I have bought one, along with their recommended cable bracket and will install soon. Nice looking bit of gear, with braded stainless steel cable etc and looks easy to install. It wraps around from the rear of the trans and pulls the kick-down lever as opposed to the original rod pushing it. Visit their website for more info: http://www.lokar.com/
