rare wheels?

I bought a challenger a little while ago from a friends father. i have not seen the car yet and will not for about 3 months due to my employer requiring me to be out of town. I understand that he has given me 2 sets of wheels. one set is already on the car and one set is rare. apparently they are worth about 2,000 dollars US if i wanted to sell them. Anyone know what these could be? It was just a regular challenger witha 318. Thank you.

No idea. There is no wheel that came on a Challenger worth that much.

You do not say what year and model you have so I cannot tell you what would have been the exact options for your car. But with a 318 they would have been 14" diameter and most likely the 'magnum' road wheel.

There are wheels from the 1960s that are quite collectable. Some of them (like the withdrawn alloy wheels) are quite rare and fetch good money. Maybe they are something like that? But they would not have been fitted to a Challenger.
