Hello!
I send some pictures.
Nowadays I sell new cars daily, before it I have been car journalist. In 1990 when I was only 20, I wrote a story about rare american cars in Estonia (totally about 15 pcs in hole country). The most interesting was 70 challenger, that was somehow by one sailor imported to USSR, and how the new owner swapped the slant six into Pontiac's 350!
In 2002 after long thinking and collecting money I went to look (and buy:) the car; it was sold to Sweden 2 month before it.
Then I started to look for one from states. This is Californian car, imported from LA last autumn.
The dutch dealer however swapped grill and rear panel into '71, removed vinyl top, detatched flip-top etc some not so nice surprises...Also amateur flames were added for some demo, where he rented the car out.
So I'm not so happy about details.
The car is numbers matching # 383 2bbl, bench seat (if original, then quite rare?) + on the column and factory AC. No original title, no build sheet. R/T hood probably lately attached.
I add pictures as in LA and as now. Today I'm fixing roof liner, door hinges etc
If anybody can help with grill and rear panel (can get 71 in change, if needed), chrome list in front of the bonnet and Cragar hubcap and with electric & wiring schems, I will be very grateful!
Hope to hit the road in few weeks.
I've arranged pecial plates "70CHR" - it will be nice touch for the one and only Challenger in Baltic states!
