Hi all!

I gave up on getting any pics to post here, so I temporarily threw up the best shot of the Challenger quarters that I have on a page on my company website:

http://trilicensing.com/html/equarters.html

These should be on the shelf this summer. The 70-71 Challenger quarters are on the same schedule, but my pics of them didn't turn out so good. I am not sure on the timing of the Cuda/Barracuda quaterpanel counterparts.

The latest info I have from Goodmark is that the following parts are "closest in" on their product plan:

E fenders, B quarters, Mopar floor mats, the black steering wheel for A and B bodies, and A,B, and E bumpers. The floor mats are exact repros of the original rubber mats.

If you guys have ever seen the quality of some of the GM stuff these guys have done (Chevelle quarters being one that comes to mind), you'll appreciate how good these are. And they are real. I'd only ask that you guys don't pound on the order desk at Goodmark too hard; they might get PO'ed at me for giving you a sneak peek!

Challenger Quarters

Hi!

This is Bob Horton. I am President and CEO of Trademarketing Resources. We are the trademark licensing agency for Mopar (we also represent many other companies including CITGO, Polaris Industries, and Saleen).

Anyway, I was the original poster of this information. I can assure you that these are real; the parts have been made. The reason I put the picture up is so that you guys could seen that they were real!

Anyway, Goodmark has made an enormous financial commitment in getting these parts tooled. They are from the original prints, and are off of brand new steel tools.

These are the first of many new Mopar body panels from Goodmark. In my past life, I ran the GM Restoration Program. I worked with Goodmark to get the full line of GM sheetmetal done. IMO, these guys are the best. I hope you will agree when you see this stuff first hand!

To be honest I think a range of panels made on good tooling is long overdue for e-bodies.

How valuble do Challengers have to get before someone makes a fender for one?
I suspect that they have to get valuble enough to justify the cost of the replacement panel when we find out how much they want for one?

In the past it was easier to make your own patch panels rather than try and fit what was available. One of my own rear quarters is a good example of that. One of my front fenders was sourced from a parted out car that could easily have been restored. But with no other options but to scavenge what could we do?

So I wish Goodmark every success with this line of products. :D

The market is there for them. I just hope the quality and the fit is good and that the lines are sharp! If so they will be on a winner.

BUT! The price should be right too. I hope they don't want a return on their investment TOO quickly. :?

And will the 1970-71 panels be priced the same as the 72-74 panels??

If the fenders are as good as the Goodmark replacement hood I have, E Body owners are in for a treat!
