They can only be better than the Holleys they are based on I would guess. They certainly look good!
I really think the make of a carb is unimportant. They are very simple things and anyone that knows how to tune one can make any carb work on a street car. It is ease of adjustment and tuning I would look for.
I like the new Edelbrock Thunder Series AVS carbs. These have all the benifits of the 'performer' carbs but with an easily adjustable secondary opening rate. So there is no tuning you can do that needs the carb to be taken apart. You can do it all with simple tools, on the engine, and without spilling a drop of fuel. for someone like me with a Holley six pack that would be Heaven!!
