Can anyone tell me the correct placement (in easy to follow measuring instructions) for a rear mounted Radio Antenna? Does the antenna go straight up and down or is it slightly tilted back?

Mine is about 1.5" back from the Centerline of the gas tank fill and in the middle of the flat area next to the trunk. I assume this is stock.

Nope, straight up and down. The base must swivel a bit so that you can align the mast.
