I have the same question for my '70 440 mag. I now have the gage cluster.

I tried to down load the schematics that Dave posted, but cannot get them all. I am still trying.

The tach gets its signal from the negative side of the coil. Those images of the diagrams are quite large so you may need to try them at off-peak times.

I already downloaded all these images so if anybody can't download them, email me and I will email them to you.

The best way to download the images on my site is to RIGHT click on the link to the image and 'save target as' to save it to your hard drive.
The other method is to left click on the link to get the image on the screen and then right click on the image to 'save image as' to your hard drive.

Maybe someone else can help you out VON, I just moved out to another place/house and have no internet yet. I only have it on my work right now.
