Small block pulleys

Postby LITEMUP (Von) » 20 Jun 2002 22:43

I just took off my powersteering for manual. I dont have A/C so that leaves me with a 3 groove crank pulley, a water pump pulley that is in line with the outermost crank groove and a alternator pulley that is in line with the middle crank groove. the only adjustable pulley I have now is the alt. and it isn't in line with the water pump so how do I tighten a belt for my water pump.

so what you have now is one belt that should go around the crank, water pump and alternator. You might have to change your water pump or the pulley for a deaper offset or space your alternator out to the first grove. maybe you could getaway with useing a twin grove alternator pulley. hope this helps .
