History of "Tickle File"
------------------------

=========================================================================
Version 1.40 - Released (2/12/96)

Problem: None

Solution: Tickle File is no longer Shareware - it is now FREEWARE but
dontations of $5 - $10 are accepted by the author to spur
him on to write other fine utilities for PCB SysOps. :)

Problem:
Tickle File would put the ratio (50:1) as a filename in the database
and would then ask the user for the filename they were attempting
to download or flag. This would only occur with systems running
upload/download file ratios (not byte ratios).

Solution:
Tickle File was being executed by PCBText #668 when it should not
be. Restore PCBText entry #668 to stock (Hit F4 while in MKPCBTXT).

=========================================================================
Version 1.20 - Released (4/23/95)

Problem:
TKLTEXT does not support language extensions.

Solution:
Fixed TKL.PPE, EDITOR.PPE to look for the language version
of TKLTEXT (look for the extension that is defined in
the PCBML.DAT file for the language the user selects)

Problem:
Yes and No prompts in program do not support language file
    settings for yes and no.

Solution:
Fix TKL.PPE and EDITOR.PPE to support the specific language
file yes/no settings (found in PCBML.DAT)

Enhancement:
    The TKL?.CFG file has CHANGED!!!

Line 1 = Check for file existence when adding files to database
               acceptable values: TRUE or FALSE

Line 2 = Bypass the "Registered to" prompt
               acceptable values: TRUE or FALSE

"REGISTERED" users can bypass the "Registered to" prompt
for a more seamless look for Tickle File. This is
               accomplished in the TKL?.CFG file.

FALSE - No, do not show prompt
               TRUE - Yes, show prompt

Note: The ? in TKL?.CFG is the CONFERENCE number that this
           configuration file applies to.

Enhancement:
When PCB invokes "Tickle File", save the screen buffer, show
"Tickle File" information, end "Tickle File", and restore
the screen. This way the files that were on the screen previously
will be redisplayed upon return from the PPE.

Version 1.10 - Released (1/21/95)

Problem:
Users not getting prompted to add files to their database.

    * Found that if the user had ZERO flagged files, had ZERO bytes
downloaded for the day, and the file exceeded a ratio, they
       would not get prompted

Solution:
Fixed TKL.PPE - Any time a PCBText entry invoked TKL, the user
will be asked to add the file to their database

Enhancement:
Changed TKLPACK.PPE and TKLPACK.CFG so users that do not have any
files in their database would be packed (removed). This option
is enable through an entry in TKLPACK.CFG

Enhancement:
    Changed TKLTEXT entry #15

Enhancement:
Added REPORT.PPE program. This program will create a file called
TKLREPRT.LOG which will be located in the same directory as the PPE.
This report will show all users with their files and descriptions
(if they have any), or it will show the user and state the user has
    no files.

At the end of the report is a "Statistics Summary" of:

       total users
       total users with files
       total users without files
       total files
       files per users
