01.18.99 v1.41 Maintenance release. No changes to the operation of
Flist. Tim Miller shut his board down and passed the
maintenance of his software to Mark Zec at Hare Mail BBS.
This release only incorporates the new support/contact
information.
04.21.96 v1.40 - QWKScan would read hard spaces at the end of the BBS
Name as it was stored in the QWKSCAN.CFG file. this
would cause QWKScan to show [unregistered] even though
it was registered. Fixed.
- Compiled with PPLC v3.20. You must be using PCBoard
v15.22+ to use this version of QWKScan.
12.02.95 v1.30 - Corrected a QWKTEXT read error. 2 prompts from within
the user configuration screen were being misread.
- Download YOUR mail option added. 2 new commands come
with this. "Y" - Download Your New Mail, and "YG" -
Download Your New Mail & Goodbye!
- Download YOUR mail & mail addressed to ALL option
added. 2 new commands come with this. "YA" -
Download Your Mail & Mail Addressed to ALL, and
"YAG" - Download Your Mail & Mail Addressed to ALL
& Goodbye!
- All HLP files for QWKScan must reside within their
own subdirectory named \HELP off the QWKScan parent
directory. This was done to clean up QWKScan's
parent directory. ** ALL HLP FILES MUST RESIDE IN
..\HELP directory in order to function.
- HLP files for the "Goodbye" commands were renamed
respectively.

04.23.95 v1.10 - Released to public
- If a user did not have access to the NET commands
they would be looped to the configuration
screen when executing the "NET" command. Fixed.
04.01.95 v1.00รก - QWKScan now allows stacked commands directory
from the command line as QWKScan is initially
executed.
- The downloading of Support Files has been greatly
enhanced. Now, a caller can select more than 1
file before committing to a download. If the
caller has one of PCBoard's default Transfer Protocols
selected that do not support BATCH downloads the
selected file will be downloaded immediately. This
also holds true when no protocol is selected. With
this improvement, 2 commands have been added to the
DLMNU menu prompt:
(D) Download Selected Files
(C) Clear Download Queue
A help file (HLPDMNU) was also created for the
download area.
- The (T) Transfer Protocol Selection did not work
correctly. The protocol was not being saved to
the callers User Record. Fixed. You'll notice
a completely new look and feel for this command.
- Revamped the way QWKScan decides whether or not
to include new Bulletins and NEWS files. BEFORE,
QWKScan compared the callers last logon date to
determine if new Bulletins and NEWS files should
be included. The problem with this is that a
caller doesn't necessarily download QWK packets
each time they call. NOW, QWKScan keeps track of
the callers last date they downloaded a .QWK
packet via QWKScan to determine whether or not
to include the new Bulletins and NEWS files.
- A couple of Help files were not being displayed
at certain locations. Fixed.
