                                (602) 329-7877

Based on Clark Development's MSG.PPE that is
in use and available for download at Salt Air.
        ----------------------------------------------
        Purpose:

PPE Menus are PPE's designed to help give a SYSOP more room
on his or her BRDM Main Menu. If you don't feel like messing
around with making split menus and .MNU files, then this will
        do the trick for you.

Or maybe you want some menus that use HOT-KEYS and Hi-Lite Bars?

        PPE-MENU:

It provides the following menus that are easily installed onto
your BBS CMD.LST and PCBTEXT prompt #425. These PPE MENUS use
only PCBoard's original commands. So if you use a PPE to replace
an original command, then these PPE's will bypass your's and use
        the original commands.

        USER MENU
        MAIL MENU
        FILES MENU
        SYSOP MENU

PPE MENUS have HOT KEYS for ANSI/ASCII callers and a Hi-Lite
Bar that moves with the ARROW or numeric arrow keys. So you
can Hi-Lite and press <Enter> or use the apla-numeric commands
        if you like.

        How to Install:

        USER.PPE, FILES.PPE & SYS.PPE

        1. Go into PCBSetup and Press "B" twice. Hit the CURSOR UP key 5
times until you get to the "CMD.LST" prompt. Press F2.

        2. Add "FI", "US" and "SYS" to your NEW commands with the path to
           the USER,FILES & SYS

           PPE files. i.e.: D:\PCB\MENUS\USER.PPE
                              D:\PCB\MENUS\FILES.PPE
                              D:\PCB\MENUS\SYS.PPE

ADD Commands to BRDM/BRDS display menus:

Make sure your BRDM/BRDS menus use the same commands that you
install in the CMD.LST... "FI", "US" and "SYS". Set the "SYS"
security level to 110 or whatever you use for SYSOP access.

        3. Run MKPCBTXT and edit prompt #425 to say....

                !D:\PCB\MENUS\MAIL.PPE_
                                      ^...Don't forget this Underscore at
the end of the line or you will
                                          get a "?" displayed. A No-No!

        4. That's it! DONE.

        Disclaimer:

These PPE menus work on my BBS. They should work for you also, but
I can only promise that they will only use up hard drive space after
you've installed them. Your BBS system may be setup different than
        mine.

        CUSTOMIZED MENUS AVAILABLE:

I will be glad to help tweak them for you or customize them
with your BBS NAME on each menu.

For the special customizing, I think our $10 TABS 900#
could be used to help offset time spent etc... Help is
always free via RIME or my BBS.

LD callers beware, I use a callback door, so you won't get
instant access to BSO. But I will upgrade you right away, so
you can callback within an hour or two and you can let me
know what you'd like done. Or leave me a COMMENT with your
information and you can check back later for info.

I can be reached on RIME at "->OLDTOWN" in the SYSOP's conf or
PCBoards Support Conf. SO Private mail/directed mail is the best
        bet to save a call.
