This is a beta release and is fully functional.
The evaluation registration key will allow transfers
only between the rime.test conference and your BBS.

I suggest this sequence in installing it, as I have not
made any documentation yet:

1. Make its own PCBNNTP directory.
2. Make a LOGS and DUPES directory under the PCBNNTP directory.
3. Run setup, installing it in the PCBNNTP directory just created.
4. Create an ICON on the Desktop for PCBNNTP.
5. Run PCBNNTP.
6. Complete the SITE Configuration. All path entries must contain
   the trailing backslash.
7. Press the SAVE CONFIGURATION button.
8. Press the CONNECT button.
9. Press the GET HUB and BBS CONFERENCE LIST button.
10. Wait for the lists to load.

The next procedure will configure only the RIME.TEST and
the JUNK conference on your BBS. This is for testing purposes
and to make sure you understand how this works, and that it
is working correctly for you.

1. Left Click on 'rime.test' in the left WINDOW.
2. The selected News Group is placed in the center WINDOW.
3. Left Click on the 'rime.test' in the center Selected Conferences
   WINDOW.
4. Scroll down the list of BBS conferences in the right window
until you display the PCB Junk conference.
5. Left click on the PCB Junk conference.
6. The NewsGroup<->PCBoard conference and its Last/Read pointer
on the Hubs news server is shown in the HUB window of the
EDITED CONFIGURED CONFERENCES section of the display. PCBNNTP
determines the Last/Read pointer by subtracting/adding the value
you place in the 'SET HI MESSAGE POINTER' box, and the actual
last message number in the selected news group and the actual
hi message number on the BBS.
The selected PCB conference is also displayed in the
BBS window of the EDITED CONFIGURED CONFERENCES section of the display.
7. The individual entries in the HUB or BBS windows can be edited by
Left Clicking on the entry you wish to edit.
8. Check the RESET ALL HUB POINTERS and the RESET ALL BBS POINTERS.

The next procedure will insure that the transfer of mail is
working properly. Don't forget, PCBNNTP will only transfer
the message once, even if you set the pointers back, as it
checks for duplicates before it will send to the News Server
or post to the BBS. You can force a 'resend' of the messages by
deleting the matching *.nrc file in the PCBNNTP/DUPES directory.

1. Press the GET MAIL button. Any messages in the News Server rime.test group
will then be retrieved and tossed into the PCB Conference selected
   for 'rime.test',(the Junk conference) .
2. Go to the BBS and check the message to see that it is correct.
3. Press the SEND MAIL button. PCBNNTP will scan the BBS conferences
previously configured and post any messages into the 'rime.test'
group on the server. Use your news client and look at the
messages posted. You should *NOT* see the last message just
   imported to the BBS.
4. Go to the BBS and enter a message manually into the Junk conference.
5. Depress the SEND MAIL button on PCBNNTP. The new message should
   be transferred to the Server.
6. If the new message is on the server, and the message tag looks
   correct then we're almost home.
7. Press the GET MAIL button on PCBNNTP. Go back to the BBS and
insure that the message just posted has *NOT* been tossed
back to the BBS. If not, then everything is working!

Thanks,
