  This is a maintenance release of the GIFtest package.  Changes are as
  follows:

    1) Minor bug fix in the FIXLOG utility that would sometimes cause
       it to try to fix an already FIXed log file.

    2) New GINDEX utility that was left out of the áeta 16 release.
       This utility is needed to create the new log file expected by
       GIFtest á16.  See GINDEX.DOC for more information.

    3) There was no change to the GIFtest program itself.

 -----------------------------------------------------------------------------

 Starting with á14, GIFtest uses a  different LogFile format that is not
 compatible with any previous versions.  This was done for two reasons:

    1) To speed up dupe-checking (especially on systems with a log of GIFs)
    2) To provide more useful info in the log file

 Before you  can use this new  version, you *MUST* convert  your old LOGFILE to
 the  new format using the included FIXLOG.EXE conversion utility.

 NOTE: This step is necessary even if you are already using á14, because á15
 introduces some more changes to the log file format.  Therefore, you *MUST*
 use the FIXLOG.EXE program included with á15 to convert your log file before
 you can use the á15 version of GIFtest.
