                            Authenticity Validation

VALIDATE, a  file-authentication program distributed  with SCAN, may  be used to
check  FERRET.EXE for  signs of tampering.  VALIDATE  uses two discrete  methods
to generate Cyclic Redundancy  Checks (CRC's), which are  then displayed for the
user  to  compare against  the  following  values.  Please  refer  to VALIDATE's
documentation for proper use.

The VALIDATE results for FERRET.EXE Version 1.00 should be:
