Monitoring Chat Service User Capacity

You monitor Chat Service user capacity by observing the Current Local Clients counter. For each chat server, monitor Current Local Clients to determine whether you need to increase the server's connection limit.

1. From the Start menu, choose Programs, choose Administrative Tools (Common), and then choose Performance Monitor.
2. From the View menu, choose Chart.
3. From the Edit menu, choose Add To Chart.
4. Select the computer you want to monitor.
5. From the Object drop-down menu, choose Chat Service.
6. From the Counter drop-down menu, choose Current Local Clients, and then choose Done.
