Monitoring Physical Resource Capacity

When you monitor physical resource capacity, you observe critical resource utilization, such as percent of CPU time and available memory.

To monitor the physical resource capacity

1. From the Start menu, choose Programs, choose Administrative Tools (Common), and then choose Performance Monitor.
2. From the View menu, choose Chart.
3. From the Edit menu, choose Add To Chart.
4. Select the computer you want to monitor.
5. From the Object drop-down menu, choose Chat Service.
6. From the Counter drop-down menu, choose % CPU Time, and then choose Done.
