Duplicating a Persistent Channel

Complete the following steps to duplicate a persistent channel.

To duplicate a persistent channel

1. From the Chat Service Manager utility, select a chat server under Microsoft Exchange Chat Service in the left pane.
2. Select Channels (Rooms) in the left pane.
3. In the right pane, select the channel.
4. From the Action menu, choose Task, and then choose Duplicate channel.
5. Type the name of the new channel, and then choose OK. Be sure to precede the channel name with a valid channel prefix (#, &, %#, or %&).
