Deleting a Persistent Channel

Complete the following steps to delete a persistent channel.

To delete a persistent channel

1. From the Chat Service Manager utility, select a chat server under Microsoft Exchange Chat Service in the left pane.
2. Select Channels (Rooms) in the left pane.
3. In the right pane, select the channel you want to delete.
4. From the Action menu, choose Delete.
5. Choose OK to delete the channel. If there are members in the channel, the channel remains active until the last member leaves, and is then removed from the server.
