Reinstalling Chat Service

Before you reinstall Chat Service, you must remove the Chat Service software from the server.

Important Removing the Chat Service software removes all configuration settings.

To reinstall Chat Service

1. Log on to Windows NT as an administrator.
2. From the Start menu, choose Programs, choose Settings, choose Control Panel, and then choose Add/Remove Programs.
3. Select Microsoft Exchange Chat Service, and then choose Add/Remove.
4. Choose OK to confirm your intention to remove the Chat Service software.
5. After you have removed the software, you can reinstall Chat Service on the server.
