Controlling Dynamic Channels

Complete the following steps to control the dynamic channels on the server.

To control dynamic channels

1. From the Chat Service Manager utility, select a chat server under Microsoft Exchange Chat Service in the left pane.
2. From the Action menu, choose Properties.
3. In the Channels property sheet, indicate how you want to control dynamic channels on the server.
   
   To prevent all users from creating dynamic channels on the server, clear the Dynamic channels check box.
   
   To grant channel owner status to users with sysop permissions when they join a dynamic channel, select Sysop is owner in dynamic channels.
   
   To prevent members from becoming channel owners or hosts when they create a dynamic channel, select No owner/host mode. This option also applies to persistent channels.
   
   To apply the same member limit to all dynamic channels created on the server, type a number in the Dynamic channel member limit box.
