To Connect to the Meeting Server

First, connect to the server where you plan to hold the meeting.

  1. Select Microsoft Exchange Chat Service in the left pane.
  2. From the Action menu, choose Task, and then choose Connect to server.
  3. Type the server's IP address or Domain Name System (DNS) host name in the DNS name box, and then choose OK. The server name appears in the right pane.

    4. Tip If you do not know the server's IP address or DNS host name, you can also locate the server by typing its Windows Internet Name Service (WINS) name (for example, Chatsrv1).
