To Set Up the Discussion Channel
Now set up a discussion channel for the event participants.
- Select Channels (Rooms) in the left pane.
- From the Action menu, choose New, and then choose Create channel.
- In the Name box, type a channel name that identifies the event,
and then choose OK. Be sure to precede the channel name with a valid
channel prefix (#, &, %#, or %&).
- From the General property sheet, type a topic that identifies what will be discussed at the event in the Topic box.
- From the Settings property sheet, set Member
limit to the number of chat users that are expected to participate, and then
choose OK.
