Hi, This is the read me file of pmPGP. pmPGP is a shell for PGP. You will need an OS/2 port of PGP to be able to use pmPGP. Some features of pmPGP does only work correctly on OS/2 Warp and above. pmPGP includes no cryptographic functionality, it uses PGP to do the real work. PGP is the most powerful tool for secure communication and authentication available for everybody. As PGP is designed to be used on every operating system, it can not support uniq features of a particular one. pmPGP adds support for OS/2's powerful graphical user environment to PGP. You must have installed an OS/2 port of PGP before you install pmPGP. Be sure that the variable PGPPATH is set in your config.sys to point to the installation directory of PGP. The key ring files must reside there. PGP (pgp.exe) must reside in either PGPPATH or in a directory in your PATH. To install pmPGP start setup.exe and install product. I am glad to hear your suggestions or even bug reports on this product. Contact me via E-Mail 100273.3607@compuserve.com or CIS 100273,3607. Thanks, - t(h)omas
