This file is dedicated for troubleshooting of Hyperion Music Disk II !

Music Disk II has been tested a long time with different configurations,
and these common bugs have been detected (most bugs [all?] are because
of Midas sound system we use):

PROBLEM: Though I have a soundcard, Music Disk II says
"Since this is a music disk, sound card would be necessary."
SOLUTION: Run Music Disk II with option /MC. This lets you select the
right sound card and address, IRQ and DMA for it. For example,
Sound Blasters are not detected if you haven't set the BLASTER
          environment variable.

PROBLEM: Mouse cursor doesn't do anything I want, or Music Disk II exits
to DOS when I try to move the mouse cursor.
SOLUTION: You are probably using "mouse systems" compatible driver which
is really incompatible with general instructions. Remove this
and use some MS- or Logitech-compatible mouse driver.

PROBLEM: Music Disk II exists to DOS itself while I play tunes.
SOLUTION: Run Music Disk II with option /KB. This will skip the problem
and selects "keyboard only". The problem you described is
actually a right mouse button click, which is generated by
some sound cards (such as Sound FX II, and even some SB16s).
The hardware problem (the real problem) can be fixed:
            1) Change your mouse driver
            2) Change your sound card

PROBLEM: Just after I select a tune, Music Disk II exits and says
         "Ouch! Error reading a file."
SOLUTION: There were problems loading a tune into the sound card.
For example, GUS's memory may become filled after selecting
enough tunes (at least cards with only 512K).

PROBLEM: I try to run Music Disk II in my 386sx-16 with MFM hard disk
and Music Disk II fucks me over like "Now we are dealing
with a too slow hard disk. Try to change to a faster drive".
SOLUTION: There is not much to do, your hard disk is really slow but
you can try to fake it by loading a fast disk cache
(Norton, Hyper), and then re-run Music Disk II few times.
