True Lameness
a really LAME demo by
Brite-Lite/Alpha Design
NOTICE THAT YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE ANY EMS DRIVER LOADED WHILE WATCHING THIS
DEMO AS IT WILL SLOW THE DEMO DOWN LIKE HELL!
Well, I thought I should tell you something about this little piece of
utter crap. It's all coded in BASIC because I wanted to try what I could
manage to do in such a primitive language. The second thing is that I'm
NOT a coder, so the effects are really rather simple and boring...
In the beginning of the demo you can choose between fast or slow
computermode. The problem is that I don't actually know how fast this
demo will work on any computer. Well, if you've got a 486dx or higher,
then you should really choose the fast computer mode. But if you've got
a 486sx or 386, then you should try both modes. With a 486sx the fastmode
should be fast enough, but you never know. On CHAJ's 386sx/16 with math
copro the fast mode was a bit too slow and the slow mode was a bit too
fast (got it?). Oh, and I should point out that this demo takes advantage
of a math-copro.
Another thing is that I don't know if SB works as I only tested it on GUS.
Actually I don't know if the whole demo works, but who cares... :)
I think this info is enough to get you started, so go on and watch the
demo...
