Help

"This assignment need only be changed if it is in conflict
with another installed adapter. Conflicting assignments are
marked with an asterisk and must be changed for proper adapter
operation. Use the F5=Previous and the F6=Next keys to change
the adapter's I/O address range. Choices are:
02E0h-02EFh 03E0h-03EFh 06E0h-06EFh 07E0h-07EFh
12E0h-12EFh 13E0h-13EFh 22E0h-22EFh 23E0h-23EFh"

Help

"This determines if 16-bit I/O operations will be enabled for
the ACRTC. When disabled, the ACRTC will be set to operate in
8-bit mode only, and the adapter addressing follows the 8-bit
mapping. Use the F5=Previous and the F6=Next keys to change
this item."

Help

"This assignment need only be changed if it is conflict with
another adapter's assignment. Conflicting assignments are marked
with an asterick. Use the F5=Previous and the F6=Next keys to
change arbitration level assignments. An arbitration level of 0
has the highest priority, and increasing levels have corresponding
decreased priority. Note that Arbitration (DMA) will not be used
unless the Enable DMA bit in the Board Reset register is also set."

Prompt "Single Screen Enable"

choice "Enabled " pos[1]=XXXXXXX1b
choice "Disabled" pos[1]=XXXXXXX0b

Help

"When this option is enabled, both the VGA output and the Artist 12 MC
output may share the same display. This requires that a multi-scanning
monitor with horizontal scan rates of 31-64 kHz be used. In addition,
applications software must be written so that it is capable of switching
between the VGA and Artist 12 MC displays."

Prompt "VGA Sync Passthru"

choice "Disabled" pos[1]=1XXXXXXXb
choice "Enabled " pos[1]=0XXXXXXXb

Help

"When enabled, this option allows the actual VGA sync signals to be passed to
the monitor without modification. This option overrides the Sync Control
options. This option may only be used if the Artist 12 MC has the optional
Vertical Sync connector installed."

Prompt "VGA Sync-on-Green Enable"

choice "Disabled" pos[1]=XXX1XXXXb
choice "Enabled " pos[1]=XXX0XXXXb

Help

"Most multi-scanning monitors do not require that the sync signal be impressed
on the green video signal, and some will not work properly if sync-on-green is
enabled. The usual symptom of sync-on-green interfering with monitor operation
is a green hue that is present at all times. Most single-scan monitors allow
the use of either composite sync or sync-on-green, in which case it does not
matter if the sync-on-green is present. However, some monitors which will
allow either type of sync will have better picture quality if composite sync
is used rather than the sync-on-green. Some single-scan monitors require the
sync-on-green signal."

choice "-Horz/-Vert" pos[1]=X10XXXXXb
choice "+Horz/+Vert" pos[1]=X01XXXXXb
choice "+Horz/-Vert" pos[1]=X00XXXXXb

Help

"This option allows selection of Horizontal and Vertical sync polarities. Most
monitors do not need the separate Horizontal and Vertical sync controls,
instead using Composite sync. If any selection other than Composite is used,
the Artist 12 MC must have the optional Vertical sync connector installed. This
option is overridden by the VGA Sync Passthru option."
