The file JGCP05.EXE is a self-extracting diskette image of a BIOS recovery disk for the Micronics JX30GC motherboard. This motherboard is identified by the Micronics part number, 09-00203, silksreened onto the back edge of the board. This image file creates a recovery disk only on a 1.44MB diskette. To create the recovery disk, type in the filename (JGCP05.EXE), the program will detect which drive, if any, is a 1.44MB, and will ask for a blank, high-density diskette to be inserted into that drive. It doesn't really matter if this disk is blank or whether or not it has been formatted - it will be completely overwritten. The resulting BIOS recovery disk will contain a copy of the original BIOS, 0.10 JX30GC-P05 for this motherboard. We also have recovery disks available for several other original BIOSes for this motherboard. Please refer to the included file, JX30GCRC.TXT, for instructions on using this recovery disk.
