In WPWin 6.1, the Speller is extremely slow, if you have installed 
Quattro Pro 6.0.  Quattro Pro installs an older version of the file
"WTSP60MS.DLL" dated 9/16/94.  To fix this problem, replace the old 
file with the newer version.  

When installing WPWin 6.1, this file is usually placed in the directory
C:\OFFICE\SHARED\ - if it is not there, open File Manager (under the 
Main group), select File|Search, and search for the file.  Copy the 
new file into the same directory where the old file was found.  

Restart Windows before trying to use WPWin 6.1.
