Proprinter X24E/XL24E. The DAT file, IBMXL24D.DAT,
is required for
downloading and must be in the same directory as
IBMXL24D.PRD, these files must be located in the Works Program
directory.
In addition, the Fontset module must be installed in
the IBM24D to
download fonts, and you can download only one font
at a time with this
printer. Note that Works supports more font
sizes than are listed on the
font cartridges by expanding or
compressing the font sizes.

are loaded from disk into memory when you start to
print. The exceptions

new font is loaded. Using these fonts can

Word supports this printer in PostScript mode, using the EPT
port. If
you have an IBM Personal Page Printer 4216 Model 30 or
31, use the
POSTSCRP.PRD available in file DKXPS0.
The files to support this printer using the EPT port are

The IBM4216.INI file is required. Be sure this file is on the
same disk
or in the same directory as IBM4216.PRD. If you use the
Setup program to
install your PRD file, the INI file is

port.
