     INSTALLING AND SELECTING A PRINTER DRIVER

     After you have used the DRIVER4P program to install your printer
     driver, you need to use the steps listed below to select and
     configure the printer driver.

     SELECTING AND CONFIGURING A PRINTER DRIVER

     To select the HP LaserJet 4P printer driver you installed with the
     DRIVER4P program, start Microsoft Word 5.5/6.0 and follow these
     steps:

     1.   Select the FILE menu.

     2.   Choose the PRINTER SETUP command.

     3.   Select HP4.PRD from the "Files" list box, then select
          "LaserJet 4P" in the "Printer Name" list box.

     4.   Select the following options:

          CONNECT TO - (specify the communications port your printer is
          using (for example, LPT1, LPT2, COM1, or COM2).

          PAPER FEED - (choose "Continuous" if you are using the
          printer's paper tray, or "Manual" if you are manually feeding
          a document).

          GRAPHICS RESOLUTION - (choose HPGL2).

     5.   Choose the OK button to save your selections and return to
          your document.
