blank diskette into drive B.
2. Invoke A:\NDIS\LM.BAT to transfer files from Drive A to B.

install the NDIS driver, and specify "B:" as the drive.
4. Check the PROTOCOL.INI file to make sure that the INTERRUPT
and IOBASE agree with the settings on the LAN card.

directory as follows:

With the E2000plus driver diskette in drive A:

(where PC/TCP for DOS has been installed).

With the E2000plus driver diskette in drive A:
1. Copy A:\NDIS\E2000.OS2 to C:\PCTCP\DRV
2. Add the following line to the CONFIG.SYS file:

With the E2000plus driver diskette in drive A, start WFW 3.1
and click on the Network icon in the Control Panel.
1. If there is no E2000 NDIS driver installed on your hard
disk, you need to select the "Unlisted or Updated Network
Adapter" and specify "A:\NDIS" as the path.
Skip to Step 3.
2. Select "E2000 Series Ethernet Adapters" in the network
adapter list.
3. Specify the correct configurations of NIC, including I/O Base
and INTERRUPT.
4. Exit and reboot the PC to put the change into effect.
NOTE: If you previously installed the driver in WFW and you want to install
it from the diskette again, you must delete the related OEM?.INF file
in the :\WINDOWS\SYSTEM subdirectory.

With the E2000plus driver diskette in drive A:
1. Copy A;\NDIS\E2000.DOS to the VINES directory that contains
the file BAN.EXE.
2. Create a LANMAN subdirectory under the root, and copy the
PROTOCOL.INI file to this directory.
3. Add the following two lines to your CONFIG.SYS file:
DEVICE=<VINES directory>\PROTMAN.DOS
DEVICE=<VINES directory>\E2000.DOS
4. Check the PROTOCOL.INI file to make sure that the INTERRUPT and
IOBASE agree with the settings on the LAN card.
5. Run PCCONFIG and configure the NDIS Ethernet driver. Enter
the interrupt level and fill Section Name "E2000_NIF" in the
"BINDINGS =" field.
NOTE: If the version of Banyan Vines software is over 4.10, please
refer to Vines LAN driver for more detail.

* Driver Installation for PC-NFS *

With the E2000plus driver diskette in drive A:
1. Prepare the "QuickNDIS with drivers for PC-NFS" diskette and insert
it into floppy diskette drive A: or B:.
2. Run QUICKNDIS.
3. After the "NDIS Driver" menu appears, choose "zero" for the third
party driver.
4. Next, input path and make sure the driver, filename with extension NIF,
and PROTOCOL.INI are in the diskette drive with path "NDIS".
5. Confirm whether the driver name is correct by "E2000 Series Ethernet
Adapters" message.
6. When the driver is installed, you are required to configure the
IRQ, I/O address, and driver name. Default values are 0x300, 3, and
E2000$.
7. QUICKNDIS program will update the CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT
files automatically. After these operations, reboot the workstation.
The network card driver will be loaded into memory.
