   Supposing that you have installed the 3Com 3+ Open with 3Com's 3C501 card:

   1. Copy UM9008.DOS to  C:\3OPEN\DOSWKSTA\LANMAN\DRIVERS.

   2. Modify the device driver statement for 3C501 card in your CONFIG.SYS to:

      device=c:\3open\doswksta\lanman\drivers\UM9008.DOS

   3. Modify the PROTOCOL.INI file to:
