T1108 Token Ring Adapter
Banyan VINES DOS Client Installation


INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

   1. On your hard disk, make a directory called BANYAN (C:\BANYAN)

   2. Insert the "VINES (R) LAN S/W (DOS) INSTALL" diskette into drive
      A: and copy all files to your BANYAN directory:

          COPY A:\*.* C:\BANYAN

   3. Form the BANYAN directory of your hard disk, run the PCCONFIG
      program (a VINES utility) by typing:

          PCCNOFIG

   4. From the "Configuring a PC for the Network" menu, select:

          "2-Login Environment Settings"

          From the next menu, select:

          "Token-Ring Software Interface Driver" or

          "IBM Token-Ring (TOKREUI/IBM LAN Support Program)"

   5. Save your changes by entering the (F10) key.

   6. Modify the CONFIG.SYS to install the LSP Interrupt Arbitrator
      (DXMA0MOD.SYS or TR2KA0.SYS) and ASI/DLC driver "TR2KASI.SYS"
      for T1108, see the example.

          Sample configuration files:

          CONFIG.SYS

                    :
               DEVICE=C:\LSP\DXMA0MOD.SYS or TR2KA0.SYS
               DEVICE=C:\LSP\TR2KASI.SYS /PORT=xxxx /INT=yy
                      (Please refer to TR2KASI.DOC for more detailed
                       information about T1108's ASI driver.)

   This completes the installation of BANYAN VINES (DOS) Client for
   T1108 with ASI driver.
