        NDIS/3 DRIVER FOR WINDOWS 95 INSTALLATION

A) Install NDIS 3.1 driver to the Windows 95
    The drivers named ETHPCI.VXD contained in the directory
    WIN95.


    NDIS Driver Installation on Windows 95
    --------------------------------------

    1. Plug 32-Bits PCI (fast) Ethernet adapter into one of the Master PCI
       slots of your PCI platform.
    2. Turn power on then boot from Windows 95.
    3. Windows 95 will prompt PCI Ethernet Controller in New Hardware Found 
       dialog box.
    4. Select "Driver from disk provided by hardware manufacturer" from New
       Hardware Found dialog box, then click OK button.
    5. Insert the Driver Diskette in your floppy drive.
    6. Enter the driver pathname, i.e. A:\WIN95 (or B:\WIN95), then click OK
       button from Install from Disk dialog box.
    7. Select your installed adapter from 
               32-Bits 100Mbps PCI fast Ethernet Adapter
               32-Bits 10Mbps PCI Ethernet Adapter        
       then click OK button from Select Device dialog box.
    8. Follow screen instructions to complete the process.
    9. Restart your computer.



B) Configuration NDIS 3.1 driver to the Windows 95
    
    1. Click the "My Computer" icon in the Main Program Group.
    2. Click the "Control Panel" icon from My Computer window.
    3. Click the "Network" icon from the Control Panel window.
    4. Select "Adapter" item from Network Component Type dialog box,
       then click "Properties..." button.
    5. Click "Advanced" button from Properties for 32-Bits 100Mbps
       (10Mbps) PCI Ethernet Adapter dialog box.
    6. Here, you can set the following properties:

       <1>. Burst Length : 1 Dword        ; Default is 16 Dwords.
                           2 Dwords       ; (1 Dword = 4 bytes).
                           4 Dwords
                           8 Dwords
                          16 Dwords
                          32 Dwords

       <2>. Bus Number   : 0              ; Default is bus 0.
                           1
                           2

       <3>. Connection Type :

      for 10Mbps PCI adapter:                 ; Default is Auto Detection
                              Auto Detection  
                              AUI (thicknet)
                              BNC (thinnet)
                              TP - Full Duplex
                              TP - No Link Test
                              Twisted Pair

     for 100Mbps PCI adapter:                 ; Default is Auto Detection
                              TP 100Mbps
                              TP 100Mbps - Full Duplex
                              Auto Detection            
                              TP  10Mbps                
                              TP  10Mbps - Full Duplex
                              BNC 10Mbps                

       <4>. PCI Access Mechanism : AutoDetect    ; Default is AutoDetect
                                   Mechanism 1
                                   Mechanism 2

    7. Follow screen instructions to complete the process.
    8. Restart your computer.
