NDIS Driver for Microsoft LAN Manager Installation

This file contains the installation procedures for the following
environments:

        A. MS LAN Manager V2.0 DOS Requester.
        B. MS LAN Manager V2.1 DOS Requester.
        C. MS LAN Manager V2.x Server.


For PROTOCOL.INI parameters, refer to SETTING.TXT file. (in the root
directory of ND5200 Setup Disk.)

* A. NDIS Driver for MS LAN Manager V2.0 DOS Requester Installation *
* ----------------------------------------------------------------- *

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1)   Type "Setup" in Lan Manager directory (usually C:\LANMAN.DOS).

2)   Press <Enter>.

3)   Choose "Select Network Drivers" in "Action". Press <Enter>.

4)   Press <Other Driver> button, to install the network driver from
     ND5200 Setup Disk(in \NDIS2 directory).

5)   Choose "Save" in "Action".

6)   Press <F3> to Exit.

7)   Edit the PROTOCOL.INI in C:\LANMAN.DOS.

8)   Reboot your computer.

          This completes the installation procedure.

* B. NDIS Driver for MS LAN Manager V2.1 (or later) DOS        *
*    Requester Installation                                    *
* ------------------------------------------------------------ *

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1)   Insert ND5200 Setup Disk to drive A: or B:.

1)   Type "LMSETUP" in LAN Manager directory (usually
     C:\LANMAN.DOS). Press Enter.

     Microsoft LAN Manger Setup will appear.

2)   Choose "Network Drivers..." in " Configuration ". Press Enter.

3)   Choose <Add New Configs> ,press Enter.

     Network Adapter Driver appears.

4)   Push <Other Driver> button. To install network driver from
     ND5200 Setup Disk(\NDIS2 directory).

5)   Press the SPACEBAR to select the protocol you want.

6)   Push <OK> button.

     "Configuration Complete" appears.

7)   Push <Save> button.

8)   Press "F3" to exit.

9)   Press Enter.

10)  Edit the PROTOCOL.INI in C:\LANMAN.DOS.

11)  Reboot your computer.

     This completes the installation procedure.

* C. NDIS Driver for MS LAN Manager 2.X Server Installation    *
* ------------------------------------------------------------ *

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE:

1)   In the \LANMAN directory, start the SETUP program

2)   Select <Configuration> from the Main Menu.

3)   Select <Network Driver> from the <Configuration> Menu.

4)   Remove the old adapter using <Remove Configuration>.

5)   Select <Add Configuration>.

6)   Select <Other Drivers> and follow the directions.

7)   Edit the PROTOCOL.INI in C:\LANMAN.

8)   Reboot your computer.

     This completes the installation procedure.


MULTIPLE BOARDS INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

To install more than one board, follow the installation procedure
for your operating environment, replacing the last '0' of ND5200 with
'1', '2', etc in PROTOCOL.INI (so that each driver name and section is
unique).  In other words, the drivers are ND5200, ND5201, ND5202, etc.

SLOT must be specified for multiple boards. See 'SETTING.TXT' file(in the
root directory of ND5200 Setup Disk).
