Running Artisoft LANtastic

This file describes the current level  of  support  for  the  Artisoft 
LANtastic  network  operating  system.  Please  install  the LANtastic 
workstation software by following the instructions in  your  LANtastic 
manual.

LANtastic uses a NetBIOS interface. To install a NetBIOS interface use 
the SMART.EXE driver and the NETB.SMT protocol module.   To  do  this, 
put the following line in CONFIG.SYS:

  device=SMART.EXE

and create a SMART.CFG file with the following entries:

  [HOST]
   [CARD]
    [NETB]

If you are also running any applications that require an LLC interface 
(for example, IBM AS400 support program), you need to  add  the  [LLC] 
line to the SMART.CFG file.
