This file provides instructions on setting up the VLMs and/or NETX
workstations with the NetWare Windows drivers necessary to run Windows
from the network. This setup assumes you are using NetWare 4.02.

1. Copy the following files from the WINDR3.EXE and
NWDLL2.EXE files to the network WINDOWS shared directory:

               NWDLL2.EXE\NWDLL\NWCALLS.DLL
               NWDLL2.EXE\NWDLL\NWIPXSPX.DLL
               NWDLL2.EXE\NWDLL\NWLOCALE.DLL
               NWDLL2.EXE\NWDLL\NWNET.DLL
               NWDLL2.EXE\NWDLL\NWPSRV.DLL
               WINDR2.EXE\NWPOPUP.EXE
               WINDR2.EXE\VXDS\VIPX.386
               WINDR2.EXE\VXDS\VNETWARE.386

2. Also copy the following files from the [VLMDRVS] directory,
located below the root of the expanded WINDR3.EXE file, to the
     network WINDOWS shared directory:

               WINDR2.EXE\VLMDRVS\NETWARE.DRV
               WINDR2.EXE\VLMDRVS\NETWARE.HLP
               WINDR2.EXE\VLMDRVS\NWGDI.DLL
               WINDR2.EXE\VLMDRVS\NWUSER.EXE

3. Create a "NLS" subdirectory under the network WINDOWS
directory. Copy all the files and subdirectory(s) from a user's
personal WINDOWS\NLS directory (located on a workstation's local
drive) into the WINDOWS\NLS directory on the server. Use either
NCOPY /s /e or XCOPY /s /e to copy all the files and
     subdirectory(s) below the NLS directory.

Note: After this is completed, all users on the network must use
the VLMs. If NETX workstations are also accessing the shared
windows files, then complete the following:

     a. Create a subdirectory under the network WINDOWS directory
          called [NETXDRVS]

     b. Copy the following files from NET33X.EXE to the network
          WINDOWS\NETXDRVS directory:

               NET33X.EXE\NETXWIN\NETWARE.DRV
               NET33X.EXE\NETXWIN\NETWARE.HLP

     c. Edit each workstation's SYSTEM.INI of users that will be using
the NETX.EXE shell. Under the [boot] section of the SYSTEM.INI
file, there is currently a "network.drv=netware.drv" line. Edit
this line to contain the following:

               network.drv=*f:\windows\netxdrvs\netware.drv

Currently the NETWARE.DRV and NETWARE.HLP files are the only NetWare Windows
drivers specific to either the VLMs or NETX.EXE. NWUSER.EXE and NWGDI.DLL
are support files applicable only to the v3.03 NETWARE.DRV driver, and are not
used by v2.02 NETWARE.DRV found in NET33X.EXE.
