Folio VIEWS 1.2 to 1.3 Window Conversion Utility
About WIN2WIN
WIN2WIN is a utility used to quickly convert between Folio Views 1.3 WIN to
NFolio 1.2 WIN files and vice versa.
Note: The BUYERS.WIN file was created in the 1.3 format and must be
converted to 1.2 in order to be read with NFOLIO.EXE that is shipped with
versions of NetWare previous to NetWare 386.
-NFOLIO is the executable program for the NetWare Help Utility. If you are
using NetWare 386, conversion of the WIN file will not be necessary.
Using WIN2WIN
To run WIN2WIN type:
WIN2WIN <WIN filename>
Where <WIN filename> is the filename of a WIN file that you want to
convert. If the WIN file is in 1.3 format it will be converted to 1.2 and
if 1.2 format it will be converted to 1.3.
WIN2WIN Cautions
Views 1.3 WIN files contain more information than 1.2 WIN files. Thus,
some information is lost with converting to the l.2 format. Specifically,
the shadow on/off toggle for certain window types may be lost. Default
information is supplied when converting from 1.2 to 1.3.
