What's new in this release of EDBIN: 07-Feb.-95: 1. A german README.DE added. 06-Feb.-95: 1. A TEMP or TMP variable ponting to any root dir caused a crash. Fixed. 2. Wrong Uppercase tranlation for special characters fixed. 30-Jan.-95: (minor bug fixes only) 1. The List of Servers in the change server menu has been modified to better fit long server names. 2. The number of possible servers has been enhanced to 64 in server list. 3. The way handling the temporary connection for server info hase been modified to fit the need of some -not all- 3.12 servers. 18-Jan.-95: 1. In a list of objects in a set propertie the Type number of that object is shown, because in NetWare up to 3.12 different types could have the same name. 2. The DOS TEMP or TMP environment variable is honoured for storing temporary files. This may reduce the network traffic. 3. The Change server section has been modified. Attach and Login procedure are now separated. If you are not attached, attach is made by login. If you are already logged, and leave the login screen blank, no changes are made. If you are logged in an a second server as supervisor or equivalent, you will get the possibility to login as other object than user, printserver for example. This security check has been added to prevent from missuse. 13-Dec.-94: 1. Number of possible objects is enhanced, depends now only on your free memory. 2. Long Filserver names and User names overran the bottom status line. Names are shortened now (in the status line only). 3. Program runs correct in a Windows and OS/2 (tested on v3.0) DOS box. 4. A Count function is added to count all objects and objects by type. 5. A Reaname function is added. 6. A short <F1> helpscreen was added (key definitions only). 7. A Fileserver Information was added in the "Change Server" Section 8. Some small cosmetic changes have been made. 9. Some minor software bugs have been removed. 10. The README was expanded.
